Halloween Themed Events in East Contra Costa County

This week, there are events for everyone in the communities of City of Antioch, City of Brentwood and City of Oakley for Halloween. Here is a look at some of the larger events.

Be sure to visit our local farms as they still have plenty of pumpkins at: G&S Farms, Smith Family Farms and Three Nunn Farms in Brentwood.

October 28

3:00 pm: Antioch 2nd Annual Fall-O-Ween

Join the City of Antioch at the Antioch Water Park (Lone Tree Way) from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm for its second annual Fall-O-Ween Fest. This event will feature a hay maze, pumpkin patch, scavenger hunt and each child who enters will leave with a pumpkin and bag of candy. This is a spooktacular family event open to all ages. 5:00 pm Halloween Trunk or Treat at Delta Valley Health Club

You are invited to the Halloween Trunk or Treat event from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm! They welcome the community to bring their kids to trunk-or-treat in a fun and safe outdoor environment. They will have small business vendors, food vendors, games, prizes, candy, and more! For more information, click here.

12:00 pm:  Antioch Rivertown Trick or Treat Kids Fest

Join the Antioch Rivertown for the chance to go store-to-store trick or treating from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This event will feature Craft Vendors, Activities, Games and Costume Contest! For more information, click here.

4:00 pm: 9th Annual Dia De Los Muertos (Oakley)

Join the City of Oakley at the Oakley Civic Center Park (3231 Main Street, Oakley) for the 9th Annual Día de los Muertos event starting at 4pm.  The event’s activities and performances will be followed by a movie in the park featuring Coco, which is set to begin after 6:30 pm as it gets dark. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy the entire event. For more information, click here.

5:00 pm: Brentwood Hometown Halloween

Join downtown Brentwood for a night of safe trick-or-treating followed by a movie in the park hosted by the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce. This event allows merchants to set up booths and sponsor the event as well.

5:00 pm:  Red Caboose Halloween Party

You are invited to celebrate Halloween at the Red Caboose from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm with multiple happenings.  TWO bands! River Ratz from 5:00-7:00, Joker On Jack 7:30- 9:30 (or later). Halloween Costume Judging from 8:45-9:00. Prize for Most Original Costume, Scariest, And Best Over All. Jello Shots! $1.00 Mystery Shots! Burgers, BBQ and Great Drinks! October 31

1:00 pm: Trick or Treat with Antioch Police

Come trick or treat with the Antioch Police Department. This is a drive-thru event on Oct. 31 between 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at 300 L Street in the City of Antioch. Participants will get goody bags, delicious candy, and interact with Antioch Police officers and staff. For more information, click here.
