Concord Mayor Tim Grayson is Top Fundraiser in Assembly District 14 Race

Concord – Concord Mayor Tim Grayson announced Monday that his annual half-year Form 460 campaign contribution report filed with the Secretary of State on Friday indicates that in June he raised $104,900 for his campaign for Assembly in District 14.

Grayson out-raised all the candidates considering a run for Assembly in District 14 to replace Assemblywoman Susan Bonilla who will be termed-out in 2016.

“My campaign is building steam and the more individuals I walk with, the more support I am earning for my election to the Assembly,” said Grayson.  Nearly all of the contributions Grayson received are from individuals and companies that reside and do business locally in the Bay Area.

Grayson is the Mayor of Concord and the Concord Police Department’s Critical Response Chaplain.  (See attached biography.) Concord residents comprise 25% of the likely June 2016 Primary Election voters in Assembly District 14.

“I want to thank my supporters for the faith they have in my ability to win this seat,” Grayson added.  “We are planning an aggressive campaign, and raising over $100,000 in June is a good start.”
