The United Professional Firefighters of Contra Costa County, Local 1230, on behalf of the East Contra Costa Firefighters would like to thank the community for its generous support of our “Squish Out Cancer” Pancake Fundraiser that was held at Fire Station 93, in Oakley on Saturday morning, March 22nd, 2014.

We were humbled to have the opportunity to serve over 500 pancakes breakfasts in support of 3 year old, Quentin “Squish” Rios as he battles brain cancer. In partnership with participants we were able to raise over $5,000.00!!

We would also like to thank the following businesses that donated food and supplies: CPR Fast, EastCountyToday.Net, Sam Bradley, Food Maxx, Lucky’s, Safeway, Costco, Oakley Unified School District, Starbucks and Alma.

For more photographs, we posted them on March 24.
