Feb 9-15: Brentwood Police Calls

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between  February 9-15 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Animal Calls

• 2/12 – Hudson Dr.: OWN’s German shepherd escaped from backyard of residence and was free in the neighborhood. While free, the dog charged an unknown juvenile on roller skates, but did not bite. OWN arrived home and secured the dog. No one was bitten.

Assault

• 2/14 – Lawrence Ln: ARR-1 and ARR-2 battered each other during argument. ARR-1 damaged ARR-2’s motorcycle after the fight. ARR-1 to MDF.

Auto Theft

• 2/13 – Roundhill Dr.: VIC’s vehicle taken from driveway overnight. Vehicle entered into SVS.
• 2/13 – Spyglass Dr.: VIC reported vehicle stole from his driveway between 0900-1300 hours. Vehicle was recovered by CHP. Vehicle entered into SVS.

Burglary or Theft from Auto

• 2/13 – Brentwood Blvd: RES entered VIC’s locked vehicle and stole misc. items. Estimated loss of $500. Occurred between 2100 and 2230 hours on 2/13/15.

Burglary – Residential

• 2/9 – Belmont Ct.: RES pried open the top of VIC’s exterior garage door. No property taken. Occurred 2/8/2015 2345 hours – 2/9/2015 1100 hours.

DUI

• 2/11 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violations. ARR was DUI and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle parked on scene.
• 2/11 – Amanda Cl: RP reported a prowler on her property. ARR located in backyard shed but it was determined ARR was a friend of RP. ARR was too intoxicated to care for himself and was transported to MDF.
• 2/12 – Bypass Highway: ARR failed to yield after driving recklessly and pursuit was initiated. ARR taken into custody and found to be DUI while on DUI probation. ARR to MDF.
• 2/13 – Technology way: ARR was contacted and found to be DUI while on probation and driving with a suspended license for DUI. ARR to MDF.
• 2/14 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for CVC violations and displayed objective signs of intoxication. ARR was later arrested for DUI. ARR to MDF.
• 2/14 – O’Hara Ave: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation, and determined to be driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR booked and released on a signed PTA.
• 2/14 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR found to be operating a motor vehicle while under influence. ARR to MDF.
• 2/15 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for a VC violation and found to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF. ARR vehicle’s was towed and stored.
• 2/15 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation, and determined to be driving while under the influence of a alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.

Fraud

• 2/11 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC’s debit/credit card used to make purchases outside of BPD jurisdiction.
• 2/12 – M St.: VIC CAME TO PD AND REPORTED HER DAUGHTER OPENED A SUB ACCOUNT WITH VERIZON IN HER NAME, CONTRACTING FOR 4 DEVICES. 3 OF 4 DEVICES RETURNED. OCCURRED IN ANTIOCH
• 2/12 – Sand Creek: RES entered business and attempted to pay for merchandise with counterfeit $20 bills. RES left prior to arrival.

Grand Theft

• 2/13 – Brentwood Blvd: RP AND FRIEND RODE VIC’S BORROWED BICYCLES TO MCDONALDS ON 2/12 AT APPROX 2000. AT 2020 HOURS, RP STATED BIKES WERFE STOLEN IFO BUSINESS. BIKE 1: ELECTRA RED/WHITE/BLUE BIKE2: ELECTRA BLACK FRAME WITH PINK RIMS AND ACCENTS

Miscellaneous Information

• 2/15 – Twilight Ct.: 4 grenades inside an ammo box from a deceased friend. It’s unknown if they’re active or not. WCPD Bomb Squad is enroute with an ETA of 60-90 minutes

Narcotics Violation

• 2/12 – Redhaven St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found in possession of 26 grams of suspected methamphetamine for sale, and was driving on a DUI suspended license while on probation. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.

Penal Code: Other Violations

• 2/10 – City Park: ARR contributed to the delinquency of three minors and was in possession of alcohol.

Petty Theft

• 2/9 – Lone Tree: RES’ stole razors and over-the-counter medication.
• 2/11 – Empire Ave: Victim reported that a check was stolen from a mailbox.
• 2/12 – Second St.: RES concealed bottle of alcohol under shirt and exited store. Estimated loss at $20.00
• 2/13 – Martinez Dr: ARR-1 entered the store and selected merchandise. ARR-1 concealed all merchandise into a store bag and handed it off to ARR-2 who exited the store without making any attempts to pay for the merchandise. ARR-1 is on probation and had prior theft convictions. ARR-1 was transported to MDF and booked…
• 2/13 – Lone Tree Way: VIC’S WALLET WAS STOLEN FROM HER PURSE ON 2/12 AT APPROX 1500 HOURS AT WINCO ON LTW. SUBSEQUENTLY, HER BofA CARD WAS USED AT TARGET AND WALMART IN ANTIOCH FOR MORE THAN $1,000.
• 2/13 – Cobalt Lane: VIC purchased a refrigerator from RES for $600. RES promised to have the refrigerator delivered but has not done so yet. RES has not returned VIC’S $600. VIC later learned that RES is known for scams in the area.

Suspicious Circumstance

• 2/13 – Brentwood Blvd: The RP called dispatch and said that INV1 had two guns in his backpack and had placed bombs on the Liberty High School Campus.

Vandalism

• 2/9 – Shady Willow Ln: Wooden pole defaced with black spray paint. Unidentified responsible(s).
• 2/9 – Sand Creek Rd: Responsible(s) used red, white, and black spray paint on mural inside of tunnel under Sand Creek Rd. near dog park at end of Roselinda Ct.
• 2/10 – Sand Creek: Sound wall east and west of the bypass, defaced with black spray paint.
• 2/12 – Brentwood Blvd: Responsible(s) used black, white, and gold spray paint to write on sound wall to the rear of Little John Way.
• 2/13 – Brentwood Blvd: RES SPRAY PAINTED GRAFITTI ON SOUND WALL NEAR LITTLE JOHN PARK ON MARSH CREEK TRAIL.
• 2/13 – Brentwood Blvd: On 02/13/2014, at approximately 0928 hours, graffiti was found on the electrical boxes in a public parking lot.
• 2/13 – Stonewood Dr.: On 02/13/2015, at approximately 0928 hours, graffiti was found on the concrete spillways on the Minnesota side of the Marsh Creek Trail.
• 2/14 – Gladstone Dr: On 02/14/2015, from approximately 0730 hours to 1300 hours, a community mailbox door was stolen, damaging the mailbox.

Warrant

• 2/12 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted at location and found to have two felony warrants for identity theft, forgery and burglary.
• 2/12 –Gergory Lane: RES took ARR’s car keys and fled the area. ARR had two outstanding warrants. ARR to MDF, VEH locked and parked.
• 2/12 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and found to have four outstanding warrants. ARR to MDF.
