I'll Fix My Own Driveway, Thanks Feb 27, 2016 - 6:42 pm

Not seeing this mentioned much anywhere, but our neighborhood is already being plagued with the “I have extra material, just enough to fix your driveway” scam. These scamsters start showing up every year just as the weather warms up. It’s usually driveway repair or roofing, but the scam is basically the same. Whatever “work” they do will come apart and your money will be long gone, with no hope of recovering it. Don’t sign anything, don’t provide personal info, and don’t allow them in/on your property. Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood, be on the lookout.
