In Paolo Virzì’s refined three-chapter tale, we begin at the end. Approaching a snowy night from three vastly different perspectives, the lives of two generations overlap as they tumble toward an ill-fated event that inextricably links them. Starring two of Italy’s leading actresses, Valeria Golino and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Human Capital twists love, class, and ambition into a singular, true-life story that exposes the consequences of valuing certain human lives over others.
This is Italy’s Official Selection for the 2014 Academy Awards and multiple award winner. Buy Tickets

El Campanil Theatre is excited to have The Sun Kings back! Audiences and critics alike absolutely love the energy and spot on re-creation of the Beatles from early in their career to their breakup in 1970. The Sun Kings are not a traditional Beatles tribute band wearing fake mustaches and costumes onstage.
No, their tribute is within the uncanny sound and spirit of the music! Close your eyes and imagine the Beatles at the beginning of their career – during their Hamburg days, before the suits, haircuts and fame. Couple the energy and drive of those early performances with the diversity of all the Beatles records you know so well. Put it onstage and you have a Sun Kings’ show, one that will leave you screaming for more!
The band will be singing the hits of 1965 – including: The Help! album and other hits and b-sides from 1965
In 1965, the Beatles not only managed to reach even greater heights of stardom, they also improved vastly as a group. They completed yet another film, this one in color, released 3 #1 singles in the U.K. (with 5 in the U.S.!), and also managed to record two full albums, each one arguably better than anything else they had released up to that point. As a part of those projects, Paul McCartney recorded Yesterday, the first Beatles song to feature only one Beatle, and it went on to become the most recorded song in history. Buy Tickets

All of this has been done for FREE – due to the generous support of Corporate & Local Sponsors, and hard work of the volunteers. Festival organizers are determined to continue the tradition of the DBF and to keep it free to the public.

The DBF appreciates your attendance and support of the festival and we proudly present our Benefit Concert series. All profits will help fund the next festival, continuing the make the DBF a FREE annual event for all who attend.

The 2015 line up is being put together right now – but you can count on a great show including:
The Mighty Mike Schermer Band with – Nancy Wright, and Sweet Nectar
