The National Weather Services released a map showing air quality in the San Francisco Bay Area which shows a map from Purple Air highlighting poor air quality from Sonoma to Monterey.
This comes after the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has called for a Spare the Air day on Saturday after wildfire smoke reached the Bay Area late Friday.
In Contra Costa, a look at the current air quality numbers as of 10:45 am include:
- Antioch – 65
- Bay Point – 44
- Brentwood – 74 (Rosie Lane)
- Brentwood – 82 (Fiano Lane)
- Clyde – 56
- Concord – 70’s to 80’s (multiple locations)
- Pittsburg – 56
