Driver Airlifted to Local Hospital After Rollover Crash on Highway 4 at Sand Creek

Just before 12:30 am Monday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a rollover crash at Highway 4 near Sand Creek in Brentwood.

The crash ejected the driver where the victim suffered a possible broken leg and head wounds.

According to a witness, the driver sped up into the offramp at Sand Creek and lost control before rolling several times.  The driver was airlifted to a local hospital.

No other information was provided and CHP is investigating the crash.
