Discovery Bay: Female Airlifted to Hospital After Fall From Second Story Window

At 9:14 am Tuesday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a female who fell from a second story window in the Town of Discovery Bay.

According to the District, they arrived to the 5100 block of Fern Ridge Circle where they located the 25-year-old female at her residence. A medical helicopter was requested and patient care was provided on scene before being transported to Old River School off Learning Lane where the helicopter landed.

The District said the female fell out of the window after attempting to open the window blinds. The incident is under investigation by the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office.
