The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog warning in the East Bay until 9:00 am Friday.
The alert included cities of Concord, Antioch, Livermore, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton and San Ramon. The alert was issued at 8:50 pm Thursday.
- VISIBILITIES…One quarter mile or less at times.
- TIMING…Now through 9 am Friday morning.
- IMPACTS…Limited visibilities will make travel very difficult.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving…slow down…use your headlights…and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
