Delta Waterway Cleanup Set for Saturday on Bethel Island

by ECT

September is Coastal Cleanup Month, and California’s Coastal Cleanup Day is tomorrow Saturday, September 18. Come and learn how the local Contra Costa community keeps the Delta clean! On Saturday, September 18, the Delta Protection Commission’s Annual Delta Waterway Cleanup invites neighbors and friends to help clean up streams, lakes and waterways.

The Contra Costa County Waterway Cleanup this year will be held on Bethel Island with the meeting point at Delta Coves’ Island Camp.

Please let us know if you might be able to highlight this event in advance or if you might be able to send a reporter or photographer. We would be delighted to arrange an interview with the Delta Protection Commission or a Delta Coves team member/homeowner, if interested.
