Here is a look at the July 4 Events around East Contra Costa County and the surrounding areas.
Some of the highlights locally include the East Contra Costa Firefighters hosting a pancake breakfast beginning at 7:00 am in Brentwood — the parade downtown will begin around 9:00 am.
In Antioch, the day long festivities begin with a pancake breakfast at 8:30 in the city hall parking lot followed by parade at 11:00 am. By 4:00 pm, make your way over to the Contra Costa Event Park (formally the fairgrounds) for a car show and family fun including music.

I thought fireworks of all kinds were not allowed in ALL of Contra Costa County! This mean in ALL cities within this county. Why hold them at the fairgrounds?
Geezzz….Brentwood 4th of July events sound boring. A lousy parade and pancakes…..the Chamber of Commerce should bring back Corn Fest.
