Creating 200+ jobs in Contra Costa County has never been so beautiful. Check out Supervisor Federal Glover making it happen as he signed the contract to ensure the facility is opened in a timely manner. While naysayers will complain, these are jobs which would have gone elsewhere in the State unless the Board of Supervisors stepped up and they rightfully did.
Here is what he said:
Following the Board’s decision to enter into a contract with the State of California for the operation of the federally mandated Health Exchange Call Center, I was pleased to sign the actual contract documents on Tuesday following the Board of Supervisors’ meeting. It’s one of the delights of being chair. I was quite excited just thinking about the jobs that will be coming to our county.
