Contra Costa Cooling Centers

by ECT

As temperatures are anticipated to reach triple digits across the Bay Area in the coming days, cities across Contra Costa County will be opening up cooling centers for people who need to get out of the heat.

The National Weather Service has issued its Heat Advisory between 11:00 am Wednesday to 9:00 pm Friday. Overnight, temperatures will cool to the 70’s inland, if not, 80’s in the hills, ridges and peaks. The hottest day of the week will be Thursday.
