Contra Costa Animal Services Waiving Fees for Remainder of Month

Contra Costa Animal Services have announced that through April 30, spay and neuter fees will be waived for dogs and cats in an effort to encourage adoption.

Animal services has dubbed this program as a “refund special” for tax season.

According to Steve Burdo, spokesperson, spay and neuter fees tend to be the most expensive element of the adoption fees, typically ranging between $50 – $195, depending on the type, size and sex of the animal.
