Contra Costa Animal Services Offering Free Adoptions to Alleviate Full Shelter

Promotion offered at CCAS’ Martinez & Pinole adoption centers to clear space with shelters at capacity  

Martinez, CA – Contra Costa Animal Services (CCAS) will be offering free adoptions of all animals beginning Thursday, April 5th, through Saturday, April 7th in an effort to alleviate crowded shelters.

While there will be no cost associated with the adoptions, adopters will be required to license their new pet for a cost of $20.00. Average adoption costs range from $104.00-$284.00.

Interested adopters can take advantage of this free adoption promotion by visiting CCAS’ Martinez and Pinole adoption centers to meet our animals and adopt their new family member.

Contra Costa Animal Services is the largest animal welfare organization in Contra Costa County.
