The California Highway Patrol – Golden Gate Division received a check for $5,000.00 from NRG Energy to buy toys from Mattel in El Segundo California, who offered a much discounted price on toys to distribute to underprivileged children throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In all, CHP was able to purchase well over $8,000.00 worth of toys.
CHP – Golden Gate Division Public Information Unit wasted no time in playing Santa’s helpers by picking out and hauling all the toys back to the San Francisco Bay Area from Southern California.
