On November 18, at about 11:40pm, Contra Costa CHP was advised of a solo vehicle collision on Bruns Road near Bethany Lane in Byron. The motorcycle (a Suzuki SV 650) was being ridden by a single male rider.
The Suzuki was traveling northbound on Bruns Road when the rider lost control of his motorcycle and went down in the roadway.
Emergency services arrived on scene and the rider was pronounced deceased. This collision is still under investigation, if anyone witnessed it or the events leading up to it, please contact Contra Costa CHP in Martinez, (925) 646-4980
