Drivers on Highway 4 in Contra Costa County continue to ensure job security for the California Highway Patrol as people continue to speed.
According to CHP, Sunday night, a 17-year-old driver in a Mustang cruised right by a CHP Patrol unit on Highway 4 in Pittsburg at 101MPH! CHP said the driver was 17-years-old with no license.
CHP used the image to showcase their CHP Smart Start Class. The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was towed.

Great job CHP!! People drive like shit on Hwy 4. Reckless, speeding, ridiculous and unsafe multi lane changes.
Write them all!!
Tow their cars!!
Thank you to all CoCo county LE !!
Hopefully his license gets suspended!!!
Great job CHP ?
He doesn’t have one. Lol
He doesn’t have a license. Did you read the article?
What license?
Make this kid work at a mortuary where he can see the young lives that are lost because of inconsiderate drivers … no license,, no insurance, of course.
Not a bad idea Karen…that just might work.
He should not get a licence UNTIL he’s 35 years old! The mortuary idea is good! Maybe he should work with the people who initially have scrape the bodies off the pavement!
So? Is that all CHP did? Issue him a citation and just let him go? That’s total insanity!
Well its not a felony and they towed the car he was driving.
Take the little sh!t to JAIL!!!
A ticket???
Are they crazy?
Babies, we don’t DO jail in CA anymore. Remember the no bail law? Thank your congressman! Thank goodness that’s on hold; but remember our lawmakers passed, actually WE passed it it was on the ballot, the law a couple years back letting the “not so bad” folks out to alleviate our overcrowded prisons. We voted for this sh!t (well, not me). Remember to think with your own brain rather than what your union tells you to do. Yes, I do belong to a union. 2, actually. Think for yourselves and stop being sheeple
