The California Department of Transportation announced that they will close the No. 4 bore of the Caldecott tunnel on State Route 24 westbound for three nights, starting June 11 from 9:30 pm to 4:00 am Tuesday morning.
On June 12, it will close again from 9:30 pm Tuesday until 4:00 am Wednesday and will close again Wednesday night from 9:30 pm to 4:00 am Thursday morning. The tunnel closure will allow workers to work safely as they conduct washing operations within the no. 4 bore tunnel.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute while being cautioned to drive safely in the construction zone.
