Byron: Dirt Bike Rider Airlifted After Crash Sunday Morning

On Sunday, a man riding a dirt bike was airlifted to a local hospital after crashing at Diablo MX Ranch at 50 Camino Diablo in Byron.

The incident occurred at 11:03 am where East Contra Contra Costa Fire Protection District Engines 52 (Brentwood) and Engine 59 (Discovery Bay) responded where it was reported a 25-year-old patient was riding a “dirt bike” on the track and crashed.

A medical helicopter landed at the crash site and transported the patient to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek after the patient was in and out of consciousness.

No further details were provided on the patients condition.
