At 4:43 pm Tuesday, November 18, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the 18,000 block of Marsh Creek Road in rural Brentwood for a rollover accident.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a vehicle rolled over off the roadway and into a tree. The patient was self extricated prior to police and fire arrival.
The incident closed Marsh Creek Road at the accident site as crews worked. One patient was transported via medical helicopter. This was based off trauma protocol. Another patient was transported via American Medical response for minor injuries.
According to the ECCFPD, the vehicle sustained major damage and CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
