On Tuesday at approximately 9:30 pm, the Brentwood Police Department responded to a vehicle crash at Sycamore Ave and Heron Park in the City of Brentwood.

According to police, the vehicle struck a pole and after the crash, the driver of the car pulled a gun on a “good Samaritan” that had stop to assist the occupants.

A female was also in the vehicle and was not injured in the crash. However, while searching Arevalo for any additional weapons, officers located suspected cocaine and Xanax.

Arevalo was taken to county jail and charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance while armed, carrying a loaded firearm and exhibiting a firearm.
