On Wednesday, the Brentwood Police Department announced the arrest of an Oakley man in connection with a series of burglaries at a local storage facility.
According to police, after weeks of investigation, police arrested David Ortega, 38 of Oakley, in connection with the burglaries.
Police say he had been cutting the storage container locks, stealing items and then replacing the lock to hide his crime.
Ortega was charged with multiple counts of felony burglary and was taken to county jail.
