The Brentwod Police Department announced Thursday that they have lost their corporate sponsor for the annual Shop With a Cop event and are hoping the community will help them raise funds needed for the event to continue.
The Police Department is hoping to raise more than $3,000 to allow them to take a dozen kids out to breakfast followed by shopping at Target. The youths were selected because they have had circumstances beyond their control impact their lives this past year.
For those who wish to donate, funds need to be turned in by Friday, December 11 as they are going shopping the morning of the 12th.
