Brentwood Police Help Reunite 15-Week Old French Bulldog With Owner Following Home Invasion Robbery

by ECT

On Sept. 1 at 7:38 PM, the Brentwood Police Department responded to the 200 block of Village Drive for a report of an armed home invasion robbery. During the initial stages of the investigation officers learned two male suspects, armed with semi-automatic pistols, and one female suspect, stole a 15-week old French bulldog puppy.

Detective Agostinho was assigned the investigation and eventually identified the three suspects: 18 year old Octavio Rosales (out of Gustine), 19 year old Giovanny Olazo-Lopez (out of San Jose), and 18 year old Jeanene Casas (out of Morgan Hill).

On 9/17/2021 the Brentwood PD Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team took Rosales safely into custody in the city of Tracy. On 10/11/2021, Olazo-Lopez was safely taken into custody by the United States Marshal’s Service Fugitive Apprehension Team in the city of San Jose on an arrest warrant associated with the case. During the arrest of Olazo-Lopez, the semi-automatic pistol used in the robbery was recovered hidden in the ceiling of his bedroom.

On 10/21/2021, the Brentwood Police Department Investigations Unit took Casas safely into custody in the city of Morgan Hill. The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office has since filed charges on all three suspects for Robbery: First Degree and Burglary: First Degree. All three suspects are pending preliminary court hearings.

The loss of any pet, whether permanent or temporary, is an especially difficult experience for anyone. Brentwood investigators worked diligently in identifying the whereabouts of the bulldog and are pleased to announce the bulldog was recently recovered unharmed, and reunited with its owner.

The Brentwood Police Department would like to thank the Gustine Police Department, United States Marshal’s Service Fugitive Apprehension Team, and Morgan Hill Police Department for their assistance with the successful resolution of this investigation.

Information released by Brentwood Police Department. Per the body camera, it appears the dog and owner reunited on Sept. 21, 2021.

I read about this when it happened, and since news outlets are so pc, I want sure if the crime was committed by blacks or Hispanics. Now, by the last names I know. Thanks!

Sure you previously read it… considering PD released the info that day and withheld the info. Nice try though

So happy to hear the dog was reunited with its owner. Pet thefts are happening way too much.
