The Brentwood Police Department put out a press release today regarding the recent arrest of four suspects connected to a string of residential burglaries that occurred over the past three weeks in the City of Brentwood.
According to the press release, these were the same suspects believes to be responsible for additional residential burglaries that occurred in Antioch and Oakley.
As a result of investigative efforts, on June 24, 2013, at around 8:20 p.m. Brentwood officers conducted a traffic stop in Brentwood, involving all four suspects, which resulting in the discovery of stolen firearms found in the vehicle. Some of these firearms were confirmed stolen from recent residential burglaries in Brentwood.
Brentwood officers arrested the driver, Pierce Kendall Moore, 22; Calvin James, 18; and two male juveniles, ages 16 and 17, whose names are being withheld due to age. All four suspects are residents of Antioch.
Brentwood detectives performed additional searches at various locations in the City of Antioch which resulted in the discovery of additional stolen property taken from recent residential burglaries in Brentwood. Brentwood detectives are continuing to piece together unidentified property in other cases.
Pierce and Brown were booked into the Contra Costa County Martinez detention Facility and both juveniles were booked into Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall, all charged with felony possession of stolen property; felony possession of martial arts Shuriken, and misdemeanor possession of carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle. As the investigation continues, additional charges are forthcoming.

Oakland is in the top five. There are thousands of cities and millions of people in this state. Maybe it’s time to bring in the army and have military type enforcement. The police are doing all they can and will never catch up until society has had enough of scum bags ruining everyone else pursuit of happiness. Three questions: What is their prior residence & are they the spawn from the red carpet treatment section 8 program crapping all over Antioch. I would like to know what crime percentage is per race in Antioch and what is was until Section 8 dumped on us. I was brought up to not be prejudice, but day by day I’m changing. There isn’t a day in Antioch that you can’t go without some low life ghetto punks and their parents breaking the law. Disgusted that Antioch has been turned into a haven for violent law breakers.

Government doesn’t “allow” or require section 8 housing. It is driven by one thing and ONE thing only Landlords. No one is forcing them and there are no quotas to fill. You and others like you need to quit perpetuating that somehow government is responsible. It is not. Period.

I have known this kid along time and his family. I was correcting the fact that he is not sec 8 and has lived here his whole life. Being the son of one of our former city council members is a fact. I was not saying they were bad parents, they are not, in fact! I do know that for some reason this boy has always had a problem with rules, authority and consequence. It’s sad. Maybe you need to read again what I said? Sometimes it helps to read things a second time to fully understand what is being said 🙂

I love this stuff. Pierce grew up in a home, no section 8 rental, with both parents. I grew up in Rockridge, that is in Oakland. The problem is all about, money, drugs and education. Everything else is a result of the problem.
