At 5:52 am Sunday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District was dispatched to Marsh Creek Road near Deer Valley Road in Brentwood on a report of a vegetation fire that was started by lightning.
The fire was estimated at 10-15 acres and has jumped the road. A strike team has been requested.
