Brentwood: Couple Assaulted During Break-in, One Airlifted to Local Hospital

At 4:05 AM Wednesday, Brentwood Police responded to a report of a break in where two people were assaulted and injured.

According to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, the incident occurred in the 1600 block of Dill Court where a husband and wife were assaulted inside their home with a weapon and needed immediate medical attention.

Both victims were transported to John Muir Medical Center. While en route to John Muir Hospital via AMR ground transport, one victim was diverted to Sutter Delta in Antioch for a medical helicopter transport after his condition worsened but they would not elaborate further. No further details were released by the fire district.

Brentwood Police have not released any information as they are still investigating the incident but are expected to later this morning.

My husband and and I are ready with fire arms we are headed to some scary times. I also suggest for people to arm themselves with firearms it’s necessary and also prepare for a power surge.
