Brentwood City Council Set to Appoint Three New Members to Planning Commission

On Tuesday, the Brentwood City Council will vote on a recommendation to appoint three new members to the Brentwood Planning Commission.

Brentwood Mayor Bob Taylor and city councilman Steve Barr reviewed all applicants and interviewed all the applicants. After the process, they are recommending to the council the appointments of Cyndi Hankins, Jodi Marfia and Jamie Tobin.

If approved, they will join Dirk Ziegler and John Fink who currently sit on the 5-member commission.

With former Planning Commissioner Claudette Staton earning a seat on the City Council, her seat became open. Meanwhile, current sitting planning commissioners Lance Crannell and Joseph Weber both applied, but were not selected.

A total of 15-applicants applied for the commission.

If approved Tuesday, the term for the three Planning Commissioners expire December 31, 2018.
