Bay Point: Two Alarm Fire Destroys Two Homes, Six Displaced

At 1:25 am Saturday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a garage fire in the 300 block of Pullman Avenue in Bay Point.

While responding, Engine 86 reported heavy smoke and flames from a distance away. Upon arrival, they located a home fully involved and a second home beginning to catch fire. The fire then began to spread between two homes and caught a third home on fire.

By 1:41 am, firefighters requested a 2-alarm response with active fires on two structures that reached the attics.

In total, the fire caused $385,000 in damages according to Contra Costa County Fire with 1-victim of smoke inhalation and 6 residents displaced.
