At 10:02 pm Saturday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the 40 block of Beach Ave in Bay Point.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a fully involved home and immediately called for a second alarm response to protect neighboring homes from the fire. Complicating the fire attack was multiple wires down.
Firefighters brought the fire under control within 40-minutes and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
According to Contra Costa Fire, the total damage was estimated at $135,000. No injuries were reported.
