At 6:19 am Friday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Firefighters responded to a report of a working structure fire in the 30 block of Shelter Ct. in Bay Point.
It was reported that the fire was in a back bedroom with smoke and flames and occupants were evacuating.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed smoke and flames coming from the home. Upon further investigation, after making entry, the fire was in an upstairs bedroom and appeared confined.
By 6:33 am, it was reported the fire was knocked down.
