Just before 7:00 pm Tuesday, Pacific Gas and Electric was reporting nearly 3,000 people were without power. A PG&E crew was responding to the scene and assessing the cause.
As of 8:09 pm, no estimated restoration time was provided.
Other areas without power Tuesday night include:
- Bethel Island – 216 (blown transformer at the marina area)
- Danville – 1,478
- Orinda – 85
