BART Police Arrest Sexual Assault Suspect In Concord

The BART Police Department announced just after 9:00 pm that a suspect wanted in a sexual assault early Friday in an elevator at the Millbrae Station parking garage was taken into custody in the City of Concord.

According to BART, the alleged assault occurred sometime in the overnight hours when BART trains were not in service. A BART station agent located an adult woman early this morning via a closed-circuit television in the station before BART service opened and then notified BART police. Upon contact by police the woman stated she had been assaulted.

The suspect was identified as 38-year-old Roberto Marenco who is a transient.

BART Police, in cooperation with the Clayton and Concord Police departments, took the suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assualt at Millbrae Station into custody at 8:45pm at a residence in Concord.

bet BART allows him to fare evade too like Cowell and Brim. BART more crooked than PG&E. I hate BART. It has ruined every county it travels through and BPD, BART Management and the Board having proven themselves incapable of running BART. Disband and reorganized BART from top to bottom.
