Backyard Fire Extends into Pittsburg Home Monday Morning

At 4:43 am Monday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched to a report of a possible structure fire in the 200 block of MacArthur Ave in the City of Pittsburg.

It was reported that a backyard was on fire and threatening a home.

By 4:48 am, T84 was on scene was reporting smoke & flame. It was later reported that their was heavy fire in the backyard that extended into the attic.

By 5:00 am, the fire was reportedly knocked down and they were checking for extensions.

“their” was was heavy fire? — BURK! You need to find someone to write these reports who is familiar with the ENGLISH LANGUAGE! Teach them about the difference in the words “their” “there” and “they’re.”
Whoever is responsible for this needs to learn PROOFREADING!

In the report about the newborn twins found in Fairfield, whoever wrote about it doesn’t know the difference between WOMAN and WOMEN!
