Sacramento, CA – Thursday, Assemblymember Jim Frazier (D – Oakley) honored Sergeant Philip V. Grant of the California Highway Patrol with an Assembly Resolution at the California State Capitol.

“Over the last three decades, Sergeant Grant has exhibited integrity and professionalism in his career as a California Highway Patrolman,” said Assemblymember Frazier. “I thank Sergeant Grant, his wife and his family for the countless sacrifices they have made in their personal lives to ensure the promotion of public safety and the protection of our citizens. Sergeant Grant’s work ethic, honesty and dedicated to service have made him a well-respected member of the Solano County community, and I wish him all the best in his retirement.”

Sergeant Grant completed his formal education at both San Francisco City College and the CHP Academy. Throughout his career, he has served California with distinctions as an officer who supervised VIN Inspection, felony follow-up and Governor Protection. In his current role as Field Motorcycle Supervisor in the Solano County area, Sergeant Grant is responsible for direct supervision of both motorcycle and car officers.
