Assemblyman Gallagher Issues Statement on Governor Newsom’s Stay-At-Home Order

Yuba City, Calif. — California Assemblyman James Gallagher (R-Yuba City), who successfully sued Governor Newsom for abuse of power during the pandemic, issues the following statement in response to Newsom’s new stay-at-home order that goes into effect tomorrow night throughout the “Greater Sacramento” region, closing hair salons and all outdoor/indoor dining, among other businesses and activities.

“ICU capacity should be looked at regionally because people do utilize different hospitals throughout the region, and healthcare facilities help each other if one hospital is getting at capacity. But any restrictions must reflect the true facts of the situation.

Earlier this week, the Governor and Dr. Ghaly both avoided answering a reporter’s question about what ICU capacity is normally like this time of year. I hear this question a lot. Why not just report the data? Leadership is about giving people the facts and letting them make informed decisions.

Then yesterday, the Governor’s Director of Public Health publicly admitted that the decision to close outdoor dining wasn’t based on science or the transmission of COVID. This is an absolute slap in the face to restaurant owners and their employees who are struggling to pay the bills and feed their families. And it’s yet another example of how this Governor’s inconsistency and hypocrisy have caused the public to completely lose trust in his dictatorship.”

Assemblyman James Gallagher represents the 3rd Assembly District, which encompasses all of Glenn, Sutter, Tehama and Yuba counties as well as portions of Butte and Colusa counties.

Vote this imbecile out. He mimics that other idiot. These two flag waving fanatics do not stand on anything but lies, always pointing at someone else. A true leader takes the lead and works well with others. I will say he does represent this area, thats why it’s the highest in covid numbers. Totally embarrassing.

I fine it interesting that neither Newsome nor Ghaly can (or will) comment on the historical data for ICU admissions during the winter months.
Here, let me help. During the winter months, ICU admissions peak. Flu, pneumonia, etc., tend to peak during this time and so the ICU admission rates follow. Nothing new

I don’t understand if he is proven guilty why he’s not punished for it, instead we get punished by him doing the same thing again. They just prooved it in the article above. How long are we going to take it before the total economy is ruined. Not to mention the businesses that spent money to make their businesses to comply to the strict regulations and putting up plastic dividers to protect everybody. And controlling are lives. I didn’t vote for this lying cheating loser Democrat. It’s up to you to do something about it. Open your eyes to see there’s no big covid threat. It’s called the flu. We would be seeing people falling dead in the streets. Good luck for the next 4 years if you are buying any of this bullshit.
