Antioch: Vehicle Crash Sends 3 to Hospital, Including Toddler

At 11:57 pm Wednesday, the Antioch Police Department and Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the 4000 block of Lone Tree Way in the city of Antioch.

The crash sent three to hospital in critical condition include one 2 yr old toddler. The call came in as a vehicle that had struck a tree and three people were trapped inside.

Upon arrival, firefighters has to use the jaws of life to cut the car open in order to extricate the child and two adults from the vehicle.

The child was rushed in critical condition to Oakland’s Children’s hospital. The other two were taken to john Muir in Walnut Creek All three victims were in critical condition.

Dead man’s curve claim 3 more victims. People need to SLOW DOWN when maneuvering that turn!

Really need to do something with that curve, it seems to have a nasty habit of knocking cars off the road
