Antioch Summer Concert Series Kicks off Saturday

This Saturday, the City of Antioch kicks off Antioch Summer Concerts by the River which includes 6 concerts between July 13 through August 17. The concerts offer a variety of different types of tunes.

Concerts are held at Waldie Plaza (206 G St, Antioch) from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Here is a look at the schedule:

• July 13th – The Big Jangle (Tom Petty Cover Band)
• July 20th – Delta Wires (Horns & More)
• July 27th – The Breakfast Klub (80’s Band)
• August 3rd – Retroactive Dance Band (60’s & More)
• August 10th – Soul City(Classic Soul)
• August 17th – The Purple Ones – Insatiable Tribute to Prince (Prince Cover Band)

The Foodie Crew will also be partaking in the concerts this year by having 2-3 food trucks each week along with a craft beer and wine truck.

Attendees are encourages to bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the event.
