On April 18, at approximately 12:31 AM ,the Antioch Police Department received a BOLO (Be on the Lookout) from the Pittsburg Police Department regarding a large sideshow that was occurring in Pittsburg, with the participants possibly heading towards Antioch.
At approximately 12:41 AM, APD began receiving numerous reports of sideshow type activity as a group of approximately 150 vehicles made their way from Pittsburg to the intersection of 18th St. and “A” St. in Antioch. Once at that intersection, all directions of traffic were blocked by vehicles and spectators as a large-scale side show took place.
The large group then drove to the intersection of Lone Tree Wy. and Golf Course Rd., where they overtook the entire intersection, and another sideshow took place. The group then proceeded Eastbound and left the city limits.
Antioch officers were limited in their immediate response due to the overwhelming number of participants in the illegal sideshow.
The investigation has been turned over to the Antioch Police Department’s Traffic Bureau. They are currently collecting and reviewing surveillance video and drone footage to assist in the identification of those who participated in the sideshow.

The Brentwood Police Department also confirmed a sideshow occurred off the bypass on Sand Creek Road in the City of Brentwood, however, no arrests were made.

So if the Councilmember was at the sideshow, two questions:
1. What car was her kid driving?
2. Does Barbanica still have his ticketbook and can he cite her at the next council meeting?
Mayor Thorpe it is time for Councilwoman Walker to go. She participated in an unlawful act at taxpayer expense. We don’t need a ringleader like Barnum and Bailey. So stand up and ask her to leave.
My solution to these sideshow is simple. Once a month they have a massive car crush with all drivers of impounded cars. At there expense of course. Just saying.
Police should go after the SPECTATORS ….. they could identify them from the cell phone images taken. It also would have been good to block with their vehicles A Street and 18th Street a block from the side show activities so that the participants couldn’t get out. Trap them on the streets! Also block the areas into Taco Bell and Wendy’s parking lot.
I am guessing these lovely members of society don’t have jobs, because I do, and I’m usually in bed at this time!!! Probably some of the same who hang out near quik stop, shooting dice and selling drugs… NO, I don’t need any smoke!!! Leave me the hell alone
I’m incredulous that a sitting council person not only attends an illegal event, but posts photos, along with condoning words of support! What kind of city is this?! Most city’s elected officials do their damnedest to keep such BS out of their city. But then there’s Antioch. It just keeps getting weirder and weirder.

Frank – Tamisha Torres-Walker ran for the council post ILLEGALLY! She is a FELON (arson) and people who committed arson are NOT allowed to run for any political office. She should have been kicked off the council during the first meeting! You cannot RECALL someone who shouldn’t be there in the first place. Go after the city attorney and the city manager to DO THEIR JOB!

We have kids with no helmets on mini bikes every weekend now riding on the street zipping on the sidewalk going fast not a care in the world. Parents should sue when their kids get hit. Kids are totally unsupervised. Good job. Next time cops arrest or ticket her kids, she should keep it to herself so she doesn’t create a bigger problem like we have now because people think there are no consequences for breaking the law in Antioch.
These low life posers are ruining the whole car community! They do it on purpose to discredit the rest of the people who want to just meet and show their cars lawfully!
APD invest in some IMSI catchers and throw one in the helicopter and collect some meta data…I’m just a Lyft driver.
