Antioch: First Responders Rescue Kitten Trapped in Vehicle

Just after 9:00 am Monday, Antioch Police responded to a report of a kitten trapped in an engine compartment of a vehicle on San Jose Drive in the City of Antioch.

After officers could not free the kitten, Contra Costa County firefighters from Station 83 were dispatched to assist. Firefighters were able to successfully rescue the kitten who police said was not injured.

The kitten was taken to the Antioch Animal Services where it will be up for adoption.
