Updated: Man in Critical Condition After Shooting in Church Parking Lot in Antioch

At 10:20 am Monday, the Antioch Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Lone Tree Way in the City of Antioch.

Police arrived on scene to the parking lot of the Fellowship Church where a male had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.

Medical treatment was provided by both AMR and Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters where the male was said to be in critical condition. A medical helicopter was requested where it later landed at Williamson Ranch Park across the street.

According to police, it appears the shooting occurred after an argument occurred in the parking lot where a firearm was pulled and one of the individuals was shot.

Police did not release any additional information but later said the male was stable. More information was expected to be released Monday afternoon.

On 10/28/2019, at approximately 10:21 am, Antioch Officers responded to the Williamson’s Ranch Plaza, located in the 4800 block of Lone Tree Way for the report of a shooting Victim in the lot.

On arrival, a 20-year-oldMale was located in the parking lot. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He had been involved in a dispute with another subject prior to the shooting. He was treated at the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. He was admitted and is currently listed in stable condition. The RES in this incident fled after the shooting and was not located at the scene. Officers are working on investigating this incident and working on leads.

I have always been shown through scripture and the media that you are temporary safe from the devil on church property or within view of the church cross. In Antioch, the devil will get you at church too.
