Antioch: Firefighters Battle Triple-Wide Trailer Fire Behind Church

At 1:38 am Wednesday, Contra Costa County Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a fire behind the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Antioch in the 1300 block of E. Tregallas Road in the City of Antioch.

Antioch Police arrived on scene with smoke and flames coming from a triple-wide trailer behind the church. A short time later, firefighters arrived on scene and deemed this a working fire and prepared for fire attack while reporting no other structures were threatened.

Firefighters made quick knock down of the fire within several minutes and within 20-minutes had the fire knocked down, however, the fire timer continued for about 45-minutes in total.

According to the battalion chief on scene, the fire was suspicious and the investigator was on scene investigation. No other details were readily available.
