The Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of a 17-year-old who was bit by a K-9 after police were alerted to a possible residential burglary in progress.
Police say the incident occurred on July 22 at 10:15 pm on Knollcrest Drive after police were responding to a report of broke glass breaking and subjects going in and out of the residence.
Upon arrival, Officer Harger and his K-9 observed a 17 year old juvenile and another male exit the side residence carrying items. When the subjects saw Officer Harger they immediately fled to the rear of the house and began to jump the rear fence.

K-9 Donna was deployed and was able to detain the 17 year old in the neighboring rear yard. Officer Harger attempted to detain the second male; however, the male was able to break free from Harger’s grasp.
Officers located a shattered rear sliding glass door and shattered downstairs window.
A search of the victims residence showed the home to be completely ransacked. Officer White and his K-9 attempted to track the second responsible. During the track some of the victim’s property was located several blocks away.
The second suspect was not located.
Officers were unable to locate the victims who appeared to be out of town camping. We had the board up company respond to the scene to secure the residence.
The 17 year old was treated at an area hospital and later sent to Juvenile Hall.

Gotta love Antioch and its ghetto ways. Continue to offer free stuff and have landlords participate in section 8 rentals and this is what you’ll get.

Agreed kind sir! It disgust me to have worked hard to own my own home while these section 8 bums get to live in houses worth as much as mine and pay next to nothing. Not to mention they destroy these homes. most have no respect for their neighbors, litter, play loud music, have parties, etc. Antioch needs some serious reversal ASAP before it is too late and we’re cutting it close.

I understand completely. Your are not alone. Many of us are tired of it. The chaos in this city is absolutely ridiculous.
The biggest and most expensive home in my neighborhood is occupied by ghetto, worthless, littering, drug selling, section 8. They stay at home and sell drugs, while others in my neighborhood have to get up, work a 9-5, and pay taxes so we can put food on the table for our family and the ghetto section 8 lazy scum!

We are the less fortunate ones, considering we have to work so that these scumbag losers can sit at home smoking Crack while they suck the tax money right out of us. I’m tired of hearing people like you say that not all of them are bad. No, you’re right. Not all of them are, just 99.7% of the ones in Antioch. Screw all of them. We should package them up and send them back to the pits that they came from, every last one of them! I’m tired of having to see them in my city stealing and committing crimes.
