Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office Delta Station Moves to Brentwood

by ECT

On Thursday, a joint ribbon cutting ceremony was held in the City of Brentwood between the Brentwood Police Department and the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.

The celebration was due to the Sheriffs Office moving their Delta Patrol Substation from the City of Oakley to the City of Brentwood after more than 60-years. The new location is at the Brentwood Police Dept (9100 Brentwood Boulevard).

The event featured the grand opening and ribbon- cutting. It included commentary from the following speakers:

  • Brentwood Captain Tim Herbert
  • Brentwood Police Chief Tom Hansen
  • Contra Costa County Sheriff David Livingston
  • Supervisor Diane Burgis Deputy Chief of Staff Lea Castleberry
  • Brentwood Mayor Bob Taylor

The new Delta Patrol Substation will be located inside the Brentwood Police Department. This will provide a more central location for Deputy Sheriffs to respond to calls in the east county area.

Those who need to go to Delta Patrol Substation to contact Sheriff’s Office staff should go to 9100 Brentwood Blvd. and pick up the Sheriff’s Office phone to the right of the entrance to be connected to a dispatcher, who will contact a Deputy Sheriff.

Please note that while Deputy Sheriffs are assigned out of the new Delta Patrol Substation, it may not be staffed 24 hours a day as Deputies may be on patrol.

The non-emergency number for the Sheriff’s Office is (925) 646-2441. For emergencies, call 9-1-1.
