The Undead Bettys are back for another roller-derby season beginning tonight that promises to be packed with thrills, spills and a few surprises.

Audiences can expect, “fast skating, hard hits, spins, jumps and tremendous athleticism,” according to Jen Wuest, aka, Admiral DeJenerate #311. “It’s not staged, it’s not scripted, it’s all strategy, speed, endurance and control,” she adds.

One of the surprises this season is the Undead Bettys has ushered a newly formed men’s team.

The Undead Bettys are the first Roller Derby League in the East Bay. They were established to provide a fun sport to promote the empowerment and fitness for all women.  They are a flat-track roller derby team who focuses on providing entertainment for fans and fitness and fun for skaters.
