With less than 2-weeks until the Wreaths Across America, those who may want to participate in purchasing a wreath must do so by November 30 at 11:59pm. The goal is to have a wreath placed on every veterans grave at Union Cemetery in Byron.
Wreaths are ordered from Wreaths Across America located in Maine and are delivered the day before the ceremony. Wreaths can be purchased directly through wreathsacrossamerica.org and VFW Post 10789 (www.vfw10789.org), Commander Steve Todd (415) 722-0923. The December 12 event begins at 9:00 am at Union Cemetery in Byron (11545 Brentwood Blvd) is open to the public which is being coordinated by Anne Loucks Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution with support of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 10789 and the Union Cemetery.
