WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Kamala D. Harris, a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, released the following statement:
“The government should be in the business of keeping families together, not tearing them apart. And the government should have a commitment to transparency and accountability. Under Secretary Nielsen’s tenure, the Department of Homeland Security has a track record of neither. As a result, she must resign.
“During her time as the manager of the government’s third largest agency, the Department has implemented a policy that has separated thousands of children from their families, issued a directive to make it easier to detain pregnant women, tried to use DACA recipients as leverage to achieve the President’s anti-immigrant agenda, failed to address some of the agency’s most pressing management challenges and overseen the continued failed response to tragedy in Puerto Rico.
“As a member of the Homeland Security Committee of the United States Senate for the last 18 months, which has oversight of the Department of Homeland Security, I have asked Secretary Nielsen and other DHS officials to clarify each of these policies, because the American people deserve to know the truth. I have, since March of 2017, repeatedly asked for complete data on the number of children separated and what training and protocol exists for carrying out such separations. In response, the leadership of this department has routinely failed to provide complete answers to questions from me and my colleagues.
“The Department’s lack of transparency under Secretary Nielsen’s leadership combined with her record of misleading statements including yesterday’s denial that the Administration even had a policy of separating children at the border, are disqualifying. We must speak the truth. There is no law that says the Administration has to rip children from their families. This Administration can and must reverse course now and it can and must find new leadership for the Department of Homeland Security.”

No you should resign for your illegal sanctuary policies that put us Citizens in danger you dumb hag. Rem Democrats care more about illegals then American citizens who need help. These liars didn’t care about children of illegals when Obama their savior had same policy as now, it’s a complete farse outrage and joke by the anti-American Democrat party and their media lap dogs!
I ask Senator Harris to resign for separating children from their United States citizen parents who are forced to do jail sentences for crimes they say they did not commit. Another bleeding heart policy maker too blind to see the damage to this Nation she is capable of achieving as a Senator.
Harris is owned. She works the system for votes and not protecting laws. Obama’s regime created this problem and hid it from the public. Now people like Harris who knew this are trying to blame others. Why? It’s for votes, power, and control not our constitution. The democrats can end this at any time by partisanship, but no they could care less about illegals. They just want their vote. By spreading innuendos this gives them power and control. Don’t be fooled by their rehtoric. Check history to see what presidents fought for the common person and what presidents said they did when they just used them for votes instead.
What about the child concentration style camps that have been operating for years in the AZ, NM, and Texas Boarder? “Vets for Children” have been combing the desert and are finding abandoned camps, and decomposing children’s bodies….its nuts its still not in the news….weird how they started finding these camps abandoned right after trump got elected….

Build the wall ASAP and save lives! Finding remains of illegals in the desert can be eliminated by a wall. Coyotes will have a hard time taking advantage of illegals by a wall. Drug traffic and child abuse will be eliminated by a wall. Do it. We are a nation of laws. Those in line first to be citizens are being insulted by illegals. Build the wall and secure our borders to save lives for Americans and Non Americans.
