San Pablo Police Arrest Two Suspects in Connection with Fatal Shooting

San Pablo Police announced Friday the arrest of two suspects in connection with a September 10 fatal shooting.

On Sunday September 10, 2017, twenty-two year old Adrian Segoviano Hernandez was shot in the 1800 block of Powell Street, where he tragically died. Detectives were able to develop investigative leads to include possible gang related motivation for the shooting.

Police said Friday that detectives subsequently identified two suspects, twenty-year old Jose Maravilla of Richmond, and twenty four-year old Ignacio Sanchez of San Pablo.

On Thursday September 28, 2017, Sanchez was arrested at the Concord BART Station with assistance from BART Police. San Pablo Detectives arrested Maravilla later in the afternoon in the area of 14th Street and Willow Street in Oakland. Both suspects were subsequently booked into Contra Costa County Jail with charges of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, and participation in a criminal street gang.

According to the Press Release, since the shooting, San Pablo Police Detectives have been tireless in their effort to locate and arrest the individual(s) responsible for this crime. Detectives are and will continue to work diligently to bring closure to this case on behalf of the victim and his family.

I’ve always thought face and neck tattoos go well with Tyvek jumpsuits. Can we keep them in jail this time?
